Hailing from the panhandle of Florida, Sailor Larocque grew up with a deep connection to Southern stories and a sharp comedic sensibility. She began her career as an actor, known for The Resident (FOX), The Staircase (HBO), and Queen of the South (USA), before exploring sketch comedy and co-founding an all-women sketch team, where she developed a passion for directing, producing, and editing. 

 

In 2019, Sailor co-founded Juice Box Films with Hannah Alline and Amber Neukum, a women-owned, award-winning, production company whose films have been recognized at Sundance, NoBudge, HollyShorts, and Mammoth, among others.
